Painter Park Face Lift
Visitors will see a new face on Painter Park this season. Playground equipment is getting some much needed refurbishing and repairs. In partnership with Sunray Little League, bleachers have also been updated. The new all-aluminum bleachers will be more comfortable for fans and incorporates much-needed safety features. A renovated press box is planned as well.
Driveway Approach Program
The City of Sunray now requires that each active, residential driveway have a minimum three foot approach. To assist residents with compliance, the City is currently notifying property owners of an offer to coordinate the work through a contractor. Combining several approaches into a single project will significantly reduce costs. The City will also provide the option of allowing property owners with a utility account at the same address to pay for the project over 12 months through their utility bill.
